Fantastic Meeting in Fairmont

Last night Cindy and I had the opportunity to attend and speak at Fairmont Baptist Church in Fairmont, MN.  The pastor of the church (Chad Prigge) was away as a guest speaker at another church's Valentine Banquet.

We really like the Fairmont church for many reasons.  The people are very friendly, full of encouragement and take on the personality of their pastor.  (That's a good thing!)  We frequent this church, even though it is not in the MARBC, when area roads are bad, we have guests with us, or have reasons that take us away from our home church in Albert Lea.

After preaching the evening service, one of the men handed me a check for the camping ministry.  I did not see the check until I arrived home, but was surprised at the amount when I did see it.  This church, although not directly involved in the camping ministry, obviously has a burden for the work.  Thank you Fairmont for your gracious generosity.  May your tribe increase!
